Are you Indigenous Owned?
We get this question all the time and we are happy to answer it!
We are proud to be fully Indigenous owned. Our owner, J. Nathan Rainy Chief started this business in 2020. The store was originally called 49 Dzine.
Why did you change your name?
It's pretty simple. Rainy Chief Trading Post is a store that is based on the traditional values and lessons taught by our Ancestors. Our store in particular is named in honor of one of the greatest of our Ancestors; Rainy Chief of the Northern Bloods.
Where do you ship?
We ship within Canada (excluding Quebec) and the USA!
USA customers can shop with pre-paid duties to their shipments on check out and upon delivery, there will be no additional charges
Why is shipping so expensive?!
We try our best to keep shipping costs low. Please know that we do not set the prices on our shipping and we do not make money off it.
Price are set by our local carriers based on location and weight.
